Meet the makers

A shared curiosity.
A book made together.

We're Pauline and Dimitar, co-founders of Coworkies. Since 2015, we've been travelling to meet the people who make coworking happen, one space and one conversation at a time.

With Madalena's design and Clare's editing, those encounters became Around the World in 250 Coworking Spaces: an independent book celebrating the many ways we work together.

Pauline & Dimitar, on the journey.

From a conversation to a community.

500+ spaces visited. 53 cities explored. 250 stories shared.

  1. It began in Berlin.

In 2015, Pauline managed a coworking space and Dimitar worked at a startup accelerator. Conversations with coworkers sparked the idea for Coworkies.

  2. We took to the road.

Visiting spaces and meeting their founders helped us understand coworking through the people who live it. We shared what we learned through our blog and coworking magazine.

  3. “You should make a book!”

Space founders encouraged us to bring these stories to print. We teamed up with a designer and an editor to turn years of discovery into a book to keep, share, and return to.

  4. The community made it real.

A successful Kickstarter campaign brought the book to life. Your support helps us keep celebrating, connecting, and learning from coworking communities worldwide.
