Greenspace Paris — A Decade of Calm and Creativity in the Heart of the City

In this edition of Around the World in 250 Coworking Spaces, Pauline speaks with Benoa, Operations Manager at Greenspace Paris, about running one of the city’s longest-standing coworking spaces.

An 11-Year Story When Greenspace opened nearly 11 years ago, Paris’s coworking scene was still in its early days. Founder Amush, also a teacher, saw how young entrepreneurs and small businesses struggled to find affordable and inspiring places to work. His vision was to create a space that combined comfort, community, and focus — and that ethos still drives Greenspace today.

The “Most Peaceful Workspace in France” Greenspace stands out for its serene atmosphere — a rare quality in the hustle of Paris. A glass roof floods the space with daylight, plants bring a natural calm, and the team intentionally cultivates an environment where members can concentrate, recharge, and connect.

Who Works Here

  • Freelancers, developers, designers, and creative professionals
  • Startups that have grown into large companies (including one that scaled to 500+ employees)
  • Nonprofits and small businesses looking for flexibility without long-term commitments

Flexible and Welcoming Members can choose from nomad desks, private offices, and standing workstations. Many join on a monthly basis, while others drop in for a day. Greenspace adapts to its members’ changing needs, ensuring the space evolves while keeping its community spirit.

Community and Events While work focus is key, the team believes that informal connections are what make the space special. Community lunches, afterworks, and even massages help members bond. During lockdowns, Greenspace shifted to digital events like virtual music quizzes to keep the community together.

Location Situated in central Paris, Greenspace is easily accessible and invites visitors to stop by for a coffee — whether they’re in town for a day or here to stay.
